I think I like Jon Kleins covers better........and they are cheaper.
I have 9 of them on various guns........3 x 92s, 3 x Winchesters, 2 x Guide Guns, I x Pedersoli 86/71.
As usual personal preference dictates who will go with what covers.

You are 100% right there. Personal preference is what it is all about. I love the carving..... this guy has some skills.

The carvings look really good on the new covers but the carved covers cost quite a bit more probably because of the time to do the carving and after a year of hunting in the rough conditions and inclement weather I hunt in the carvings wouldn't look so good any more. Something plain jane, tough and 1/2 the price like Kleins covers suits my purposes better. My guns and accessories are all utilitarian (tools) and get worked hard.......no eye candy wall hangers at pricedo's place........that glossy leather would really take a beating.
