Yeah, I found a 7.62X39 barrel and will think about it over the weekend. It seems like a cool addition but I'm not reloading for it now so would need to add the tools and brass.

ballistics wise I bet it is in the 3030 ball park not sure all the differences i have yet to look into it. I have heard of lead being loded even for ak's with decent results I think it would be better in a single shot or bolt action
