Shaping 92 Stock/Relieving Forearm Pressure

Hi Guys,

I've had my .357 w/20" barrel for about a year now and while I don't get to shoot often I have been very pleased, and experienced none of the issues I read were typical with Rossi 92 other than it shoots a bit high.

I'd like to clean up the stock to metal fit, round the end of the forearm, and remove some of the inside of the forearm to reduce pressure on the barrel. Any advice, so I can do it right the first time would be greatly appreciated. I'm also going to try the Watco finish as I like the look and it sounds like a pretty simple process.

Thanks again for all the great information on this site.

Rick
