Guilt free Money
Well a couple of my "guilt free money" checks from shooting fireworks on the fourth, finally got here yesterday. The mailman ran about 12:45........and the banks close at noon I tell you what. I must have been a bad boy last month cause nothing about this check has worked out right. So I guess it will be monday before I can go to Hotlanta, and get my 45-70, and maybe something else too. You watch, the way things have been going for me, they won't have any in stock. I already missed the "sale" that would have saved me $40.
They advertize the 30-30 for $389, so if the 45's are gone, that is an option since I don't have a gun in that caliber. I loaded up some bullets for 3030 the other day, I had the brass, dies and some bullets. They were (spit) jacketed 170's. I inherited a bunch of reloading stuff from a brother in law last year and the 3030 stuff was in there. I didn't put a picture of the loaded rounds in the reloading section, along with my 45-70 and 38 super pictures, cause I was a little embarrassed about loading so much for guns that I dont have. Plus, with them being (spit) jacketed bullets, I did not want to upset anyones stomach. I promiss to get a bullet mold as soon as possible. I'm thinking about the Lee 309-150F 2 hole, that will get me started and then I can get something else later.

Re: Guilt free Money
Tell me about it! I should have just gotten it back when they were $399, it's not like I don't have the money, BUT,..... I would of had to "explain it" had I done so. I thought "my check will be here tomorrow" so I waited and waited, and now I'm waiting AGAIN!
And worse than waiting for that money. I have an airplane propeller somewhere in California, lost in the mail! The guy I shipped it to had moved lately and he had the wrong adress in his paypal adress. After I get home from mailing the dang thing,... guess what? he sends me an email saying "hey here's my real adress". But now it's in the "fowarding system" apparently never to be seen again. That's $500 that I was sorta planing on putting toward a 24" otagan barrel SS 357.
I'm glad there is not a smilie of a grown man whinning......if there was, someone would surely put it next to my name.

Re: Guilt free Money
I think you have gotten yourself into a pickle! You are going to need to buy both the 30-30 Win and the 45-70 Govt. That is the only way I see out of this.
