We've all seen deer swivel their ears around, seemingly hearing 360 degrees all the time. My son got this shot on his trail cam which has the doe running forward but listening behind. Neat isn't it?

Yeah, they've got em on a swivel thats for sure. Looks like a big ol' doe! Maybe still carrying a fawn.

They have directional ears. When you see them running with their ears pointed back like that they are probably being chased by something.
