Pb2au: It is not that my old Rossi or our other 45LC Lever Guns won`t shoot SWC bullets acurately. I have found that the 250gr and 255gr RNFP bullets just feed so much smoother. I have used 7.0 grs of WW-231 for many years and my Son and I are very pleased with this load to Plink or Hunt with. As far as accuacy goes I can`t remember shooting this load on paper at all. But it is fun to bounce golf and tennis balls around with out past 50 to 60 yds off hand. As far as hunting goes, I have shot several pigs and a couple of deer with this load and get full penatration most of the time. I carry my Old Rossi alot while just out walking around, so I have shot a lot of varmints with it, and even suprised a few coyotes with it.

FWIW my 92 feeds 250gr RNFP with an OAL of 1.60 as well as my LNFP 325gr bullets with an OAL of 1.68.
