Does anyone here, of course they do, know if the Rio is drilled and tapped for a tang sight?

My 45-70 is not. But that would be an easy mod to do.

It's here.......smooth action. wood is quite acceptable, trigger is too heavy, scope base fell off when screws removed.

Wood ya believe that there is not a box of 45-70 ammo any where in town. I guess I will just have to load some up. (I have brass, bullets.)

pictures soon.
