No tang sight holes drilled in my 30-30 version.......don't know about the 45-70s.

It's here.......smooth action. wood is quite acceptable, trigger is too heavy, scope base fell off when screws removed.
Wood ya believe that there is not a box of 45-70 ammo any where in town. I guess I will just have to load some up. (I have brass, bullets.)
