Yeap, Rossi/Braztech was handed the golden egg with the Marlin shakeup of several years ago. They have squandered an excellent opportunity to end up on top.
I bought the combo guns 12ga/30-06 and can shoot reduced power loads like 30-30 or put 22 sabots and scream over 4000. It is probably the most versatile caliber going. I like 30-30 too but I don't care if Rossi doesn't make a barrel for it. Do you realize the manufacturers invent new cartridges just to create a new must have gun to shoot them in. They are trying to displace old carts like 45-70, 30-30, 30-06 and others that refuse to die. I'm still waiting for them to bring out the case less cartridge they experimented with a long time ago. Ha ha
