I've owned several of the t/ Cody scout carbine and rifle and pistols. They can be finicky at times. The pistol shot great all the time and carbine wouldn't; same bore,etc. I also have stainless marlin in 54 cal, and had H&R in 58 cal break action like the Rossi. Rossi should be the best shooter out of all of them, but I sure like the quality of the t/c scouts. I don't think they make them any more but have a lifetime warranty. I just wish their inline primer system was more reliable.
