Ruger 77 357/44

Post by dpowers92 »

Anyone have experience with the current production Ruger 77/44/357.
I know the older ones had issues with accuracy.
Are the current models any different?

I've done a lot of research on improving the older models.
But there has not been a lot of information on the new ones.

A friend has just bought the 357 new production version and is very happy with it. I've handled it and would like one but funds dictate otherwise.
I think they're very nice.

Cheers

If I just couldn’t live without a bolt action 44 Mag it would be a Remington 788. Hard to come by and very expensive when you do, but I think it’s head and shoulders above any other option.

I don't want a .44 anything but if I got a pistol caliber bolt action it would not be a Ruger. Heard too much bad about them even if they're better now. Honestly didn't know Ruger still made the model 77.
