Hi,
This is my first post here. I have a brand new Rossi 92 in 44-40.
I live in Europe so I had to order one and wait for about 8 months until all the paperwork and shipping was done.
I have an arsenal mold in .429 180grain with a nice large lube band to reload black powder.
Nitro will be loaded with Lovex 032 (as that is available here and not too expensive) which is a copy of accurate #2.
Unfortunately I wont be able to order all the nice stuff for tuning from Stevesguns and many others as it seems difficult to mail from the USA to Europe.
All in all, I am really happy that I went with the 92 and not an Uberti 1873 as the 92 feels much more sturdy.

Re: Hi from the Netherlands
Welcome to the forum.
You can think the international treaty on arms trading for the stupidity with getting ANYTHING from one country to another. Same old song and dance about limiting terrorist and nation states that export arms and violence being used against the individual citizen to prevent them from having any access to anything any government (not merely their own government mind you) doesn't want them to have.
Accurate #2 would seem a bit fast for .44-40 off the top of my head.
Not saying it won't work but I think I'd be a bit cautious and it certainly won't push bullets anywhere near the levels of the high pressure loading Winchester used to market for 1892 rifles ONLY.
Good luck and please keep us informed as to how things go with the gun and the reloading!
