Howdy from Gainesville, Florida
I'm happy to find this forum, since information on Rossi seems to be scarce. I'm 62 and have been involved in gun sports, handloading, casting and gun safety since my youth. I first encountered a Rossi 92 when doing cowboy action shooting.

Things have been a bit quiet lately. We need the new blood. Welcome aboard!

Amen. Our activity here on the forum seems to have slowed down with the Rossi production.HarryAlonzo wrote:Things have been a bit quiet lately. We need the new blood. Welcome aboard!

That is precisely one of my questions...what is going on with Rossi, Taurus, Braztech? I haven't seen any 92s available anywhere.

Rossi, not sure. Customer Service keeps saying that they are coming, but they did not live up their promises last year.WickedWillie wrote:That is precisely one of my questions...what is going on with Rossi, Taurus, Braztech? I haven't seen any 92s available anywhere.
Taurus. They continue to "bone" the Millenium Pro recall. They have effectively de-armed owners. Got a copy from the Court of another firearm that was returned over a year ago and CS will not even take the customers call. He is without.

I'm in Gainesville too but I'm in the prairie.

I hope to visit Gainesville, Texas someday...just because. Last time I was in Texas, I stayed at The Cabin on Barton Creek (now The Retreat on Barton Creek) in the hill country. Dripping Springs, I think. I"d move to Texas in a heartbeat but my bride is less than enthusiastic about Texas...except for the brisket.
