No new Rossi
No new Rossi
Rossi is losing big bucks by not keeping the 92 in stock. They need to come out with new calibers like maybe,a327,32-20,.32hr,.38-40,just keep them coming.
Re: No new Rossi
Would love to have a 32-20 or 25-20.
25-20 with a 24" round barrel and a button mag, perfect squirrel/walking varmint rifle for the north woods. Sharp as they come too.

Re: No new Rossi
I've come to the conclusion that Rossi's priority is not profiting on M92 sales. Most companies would look at which models are most in demand and crank them out around the clock so they can collect every dollar possible. Winchester apparently met a much bigger demand 120 years ago so it can't be a production limitation.Oldman11 wrote:Rossi is losing big bucks by not keeping the 92 in stock. Maybe they think they can make more money selling this?

Re: No new Rossi
I would also jump on a 25-20, preferably in 20 inch barrel. I've lusted after one since I was a kid, now even more since re-loading has been an option. If Rossi came out with a 25-20, Starline offered "finished" 25-20 brass, and Lee set me up with dies ..... I'd have to go to the bank for a loan.
I ain't holding my breath though.

Re: No new Rossi
I'd buy a .32-20 tomorrow.
I'll just sell a couple more rimfire Marlins. They seem to reproduce.

Re: No new Rossi
The introduction of a new model, especially a rimfire, told me that Rossi had lost touch with reality.jdl447 wrote:Maybe they think they can make more money selling this?

Re: No new Rossi
Now that's dumb. Can't meet demand on lever actions but lets make semi-auto .22s just like the ones collecting dust in every gun shop and pawn shop in the US.Ranch Dog wrote:The introduction of a new model, especially a rimfire, told me that Rossi had lost touch with reality.jdl447 wrote:Maybe they think they can make more money selling this?

Re: No new Rossi
I like the idea of a .25-20 or a .32-20 but I want Rossi to go the other direction.
I have always wanted an 1886 in 45-70. I think Rossi could make one that was very affordable.

Re: No new Rossi
Man, I love the two 92's I have. If they upped production with more caliber choices and brought back the 16" carbines, I'd be in serious trouble.
