Scout Scope on .45 Colt

Post by Moon Tree »

I put a Weaver K4 scout scope on my Rossi .45 and took it out to range a couple days ago. I was shooting some American Eagle 225 bullets that a friend gave me just to get it on the paper. I have to get a cheek pad on this stock. It felt like my head was just about floating around in space with no anchor point. Even with that, I'm pleased with the grouping. Once I get a cheek pad made, I'll run some of my handloads through it.

Very nice, and no doubt you'll see some improvement with hand loads and a good cheek weld. Bravo!

I remember getting a bunch of grief from Rossi guys concerning my factory configured scout rifles, the -002 models.
