Re: Rossi coming back???
Don't look like it as there are only 18 NIB rifles on Gunbroker, two years ago there would have been over 100. A change in facility and CEO, no telling what the Brazilians are up to.

And it's not like these gun aren't selling.
I'd really like to get another 357, I think a 20" round barrel would work.

I wouldn't mind having another in SS instead of blue but I'm not overly concerned with looking for one either.

Re: Rossi coming back???
FWIW - A guy on another board has an R92 rifle he's offered to sell me, he took it in a trade and now needs to move it. Says he's never fired it, looks great in the photos. It's identical to my .45, only in .357. Stainless, 24" octagonal barrel. Rifle, not carbine.
Price is $450, plus shipping and transfer bs. I'm trying to raise the cash now. God only knows if I'll ever see another chance, and this is the second time this same rifle has dangled in front of my nose.

New, happily paid $579 for mine. Hard to find, and felt lucky to get it at all.rondog wrote: .357 Stainless, 24" octagonal barrel. Price is $450, plus shipping and transfer bs.

I have the exact rifle, it took a trip back to Braztec because it didn't like the OAL of the 357 rounds. I was new to lever guns then, I probably should have just tried to tune in by myself. I like the rifles more than the carbines but the 20" carbine is up towards the top of my list.
Buy that sucker brother, If its a good shooter it will be worth more that you pay (IMO) of all the 357 rifles out there, the 24" and the 20" octagon barrel seem to be the hardest to find, and I wouldn't be shocked to hear that these have been cut from the line up.

Re: Rossi coming back???
I have three milsurp rifles in a LGS on consignment, soon as one sells I'ma snatchin' it up. Wife and I are trying to get the Visa paid off, but he wants to sell the Rossi before Xmas, so I may have to put it on the card and listen to her ranting.golfish wrote:rondog wrote:FWIW - A guy on another board has an R92 rifle he's offered to sell me, he took it in a trade and now needs to move it.
