Coyote vs 45LC
Near the end of an unsuccessful morning deer hunt in East Texas, this guy showed up doing his coyote trot about 60 yards away in a clearing the other side of a row of oak trees and brush.
I followed along thru the scope and shot as he passed an opening between two trees.
Gun is 45LC, shooting a hand loaded 325 grain bullet at 1435fps.
Thanks Ranch Dog for helping me setup this load, it has worked well on deer, hogs, and now coyotes!

I hit one with my ‘98 S-10 at 87 MPH at 5:07 AM once and I’m more than sure the truck was more effective than any rifle.
