Labor Day Weekend...
This is the weekend where, as an outdoorsman, I realize that I didn't accomplish all the things I had hoped to accomplish before hunting season. So many projects undone, I got to get myself together. There is still a month of ranch work to finish on top of everything.

Re: Labor Day Weekend...
I feel like I wasted the entire summer.
I never finished the chicken coop extension, got the posts set, thats about it.
I put a coat of paint on the roof I put over the outdoor bread oven, needs another coat.
fail off a 6" ladder, stoved up for a week or so.
been killing coons and possums just to keep the hens alive.
feel like Im just keeping my head above water.

Sorry to hear about the fall but I guess I'm not the only one running way behind.

Re: Labor Day Weekend...
Been seeing a lot of Deer and Turkey though.
I was in the farm store last week picking up chicken feed and such.
Picked up a feed block for all the deer that have been hanging around.
Turkey showed up and ate the entire block.
cooling down early this year, already having some cool mornings, so all the game is starting to get more active.
