Mine is chambered in 357 but I have to admit, I shoot the E Keith 167 Grn Cast Boolet that he worked with a lot in 38 Spl. I'm very happy with this lever right out of the box. I do plan to go through it with the spring and kit that many have used with theirs.

IMHO I think a Rossi 92 was just made for the 45LC. I have had a SS 20in round barrelled Rossi 92 for darn near 20 years now and never had a single problem with it. And I have shot this Rifle a lot, 1000`s of rounds over the years. I shoot my reloads of Hard Cast 255gr LRNFP Bullets and 7 Grs of Win 231 about 99% of the time. I use this Rifle and this Load for just about everything I do including Cowboy Action Shooting, Deer & Pig Hunting, Plinking, Shooting Steel Silhouettes, Overnight Float & Camping Trips and it is one of my Favorite Carry Around Rifles. And it is still stock just like when I bought it new, I have never made any changes to it. My Rifle is very accurate and the Action is as smooth and glass.

I just have one Rossi 92 and it is in .454 Casull with 20" barrel, stainless. I have only a few rounds through it (bought it new) before the rear sight went flying off. It is in the safe awaiting being taken to my local 'smith to have new front and rear sights mounted, most likely an aperture sight.

I bought it to go along with my Freedom Arms Model 83 Premier in .454 Casull, they make a good companion. I'll show picture of the gun once the sights are installed.

Welcome to the 454 club. I love mine. I have probably 500 rounds through mind without any hiccups (knock on wood). I purchased mine to pair with my Raging Judge Magnum...
