I doubt Rossi does. If anyone does they're a member here.

I'm not sure if exact number but I believe that caliber to be one of the rarest of any made by Rossi.

A few years back, Rossi did confirm that only 100 rifles were chambered in 480 Ruger.Oldman11 wrote:Does anybody know how many Rossi 92 were chambered in .480 ruger?

I called Legacy, the importer of the 480, and yes, the guy confirmed that only 100 where made.

Re: .480 ruger
I did not know of this. A while back I found one "as new in box" at an Albuquerque gun show. Examined it and action seemed quite smooth and rifle as advertised. I pondered it for about 1/2 hour after I handled it. Asking price was around $475. I let it pass - too bad.
