I am really glad I found this user forum. I went to the range and shot the new gun. My brother had 38 Special Remington and all rounds cycled through beautifully for me, and we all loved how it shot! However, my brother jammed it once and my nephew jammed it twice. I read about not short cycling lever action; I think they did this. I was quick and aggressive/forceful. I think that was the difference. I have some GECO 357 Magnum coming, and I hope this ammo is better. I read about OAL so I hope the 357 works better. I also believe more rounds and usage could help smooth it out?
Cheers

Re: New 20" SS User
Howdy from South Carolina, and welcome to the forum.
That 20" SS .357 92 is an all-around practical rifle, that's a hoot to put hundreds of rounds through at the range. Your just going to need to stock up on ammo.
When my .357 92 was new, it had a few mis-feeds, but those stopped completely after a short break-in.
After cleaning and cycling the lever a bunch of times, avoid the urge to look inside the action when cycling it, and work it with authority while firmly on your shoulder. Or as a member here one said, cycle it like your angry at it.
