Merry Christmas Gentlemen
As the day approaches and we Christians prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ a calmness sets in around the world like no other day.
I wish all of you a very merry and blessed Christmas filled with friends and family. We're a family here too so you've got someone to celebrate with even if it's an electronic get together.
I have three grown children that live close to me and we will be celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas day at my middle daughters home. The last time we dined together was for Thanksgiving and now Christmas. Before Thanksgiving dinner we hadn't all sat down to a meal together since back around the turn of the century. Lasagna is on the menu which is a tradition started by my late wife and now carried on by my two daughters.
Merry Christmas to all!
Frank

Re: Merry Christmas Gentlemen
Well said. Nothing better than stopping the rigors of life for a couple of days to celebrate the birth of the Savior with family and friends. Sharing the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals with my six grown children and their families is priceless. Nothing says Christmas like grandchildren around the tree.
Of course, after the meals, there is time to sit and retell tales of yore, no different than the sharing of stories that is done amongst our friends here in the forum.
Merry Christmas...

Re: Merry Christmas Gentlemen
Thanks for the sentiment. I will need patience as I'm far from retirement, have four school aged kids, and no time off other than paying someone to take my spot Saturday and Sunday being a normal closed for business day.
It's not supposed to be stressful but I have a 14 hour day Saturday and a 75 mile round trip Sunday.
When Christmas falls during the week I take a few days off. Can't this year.

Cute Pup!
Merry Christmas.
A bit subdued this year as we've had some losses and not long ago.
