Windows 10 HELP
Any windows 10 uses out here? I have a problem in file explorer in that when i scoll through a list of files it wants to snap back to the top. Any body know how to shut this off? It's driving me up a wall and I can find a setting of any sort to stop it.
TIA

Re: Windows 10 HELP
A quick read of similar problems online brings two answers so far. Turn off Cortona. Turn off the the Desktop background changing, and also the option to automatically pick an accent color from your background.

I recommend you first make sure your fully updated, especially with the large Anniversary Update.

Re: Windows 10 HELP
I'm using 7 on most machines because I hate update heartache.

Re: Windows 10 HELP
Been busy with other projects, still not sure I've managed to shut Cortana off. I'd like to remove the app as I have no need for it.zippy wrote:Well Ohio3Wheels, did you get a chance to try anything yet, and did it work?

Re: Windows 10 HELP
Seems like it was a simple fix as the guy Daniel said turned off the background slide show and the auto pick color and scroll stays where I put it.
Thank you, Zippy.

Re: Windows 10 HELP
Windows 10 seems to bother me daily with some unimportant thing that won't let me work until it is fixed. Some days this computer looks like it would be a good target.

Re: Windows 10 HELP
It is an annoying beast. I run it on the desk top at home, the big laptop and this Win Tablet and it seems to cause fewer problems on the tablet. The scroll not staying put was really annoying

Re: Windows 10 HELP
I only switched to 10 because that's what we are/will be running at work and I have to stay current.
So far Windows 10 is a small step up from Windows 8.1 which is barely usable.
I maintain Windows 8.0 was an abortion of epic proportions and everyone having anything to do with it should apologize in the traditional Japanese fashion!
