An Update. The bike just butted in line in front of the Jeep, in fact, when I am free and have the cash, no Jeep,,,just the bike.
I showed my wife a pic of the 800 lb machine I want, she had a fit. she points at the guy across the street that went from a bike to a wheel chair.
So I wait until she ain't lookin. Thats another story.

Greetings Bibletoter
Smile and say" I know a missionary that lives in Peru who is daily on a 2 wheeler in some of the worse disorganized traffic imaginable. God has Graciously protected him and family on those 2 wheelers for over 30 years."
That is the only sane way to ride a 2 wheeler whether here or there. I am over 65. Bought my first 2 wheeler ( a moped) when I was 13. Thanks to God I can walk, talk and function just fine. Have a 1987 Suzuki Sammy that sits and collects dust. Eating bugs in the sunshine and wind is how man should travel.

Way down south in Arequipa, Peru till June 2020.

Drive that little Sammy. I have had one for about 15 yrs and it has cost me next to nothing in repairs. Tough little rigs. It would fit in the back of my Super Duty if it would ever break down. Need the Super Duty if I want to haul anything or tow cuz that Sammy doesn't even like a headwind.

I'd have a Sammy,,,but my real desire is a brand new machine.
I know this is not the cup of tea for the "Go Fast" crowd.
But after months of reading about these, I want one. The ones sold here are made in Washington
Parts come form all over the world. Spare tire fits all wheels. Jury still out on a couple issues,
I know, I lost it..

We had one of the single wheel drive, a Tourist model. It was Linda's machine, but she gave it up after a second accident concluding she lacked the upper body strength to handle it safely. It was a fun machine. We were at the local dealer's open house this past Saturday. I still get the itch to have one.
