That's some good off hand shooting on those two hogs, RD.

Thanks but I think it is the Gunslinger trigger!Mrlucky353 wrote:That's some good off hand shooting on those two hogs, RD.
Ended up walking 4 miles last night but only the one hog to show for it. He hand nothing to do with the sounder that has that was doing all the plowing but he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Kind of a chance thing, unfortunate for him. Right at dark I decided to move up to watch several thousand feet of fence line. As a turned one direction I saw less than a second of "black" about 200 yards down the fence. Hunting is all about cashing in on opportunity so the two fellows in my head don't ever get to discuss it. I just immediately turned and started slowly hunting on a line that I felt should intercept the movement I thought I saw. Sure enough, 100 yards in who do I see step out in the open ahead of me, a dead hog!

Great stuff RD! Been your vicarious wingman (woman) throughout the mission. Love the lessons in engineering, design, chemistry, metallurgy, ballistics, manufacturing, property management, hunting, and forensic science. Their reproduction rate and destructiveness would appear to make you the underdog in this contest. I'm rooting for you.
