Lever lover from Down Under
Hi all form New South Wales, Australia. Glad to be here and look forward to being a part of RR. Loved lever actions all my life. Member of WACA. Collect "original" Winchesters made in the good old US of A. Just bought my first Rossi 92 in 38/357 and wasn't it a dog of a gun but it's getting there. You'll hear all about it in the forum.
Cheers
Neil

Welcome to the forum, saw the topic about your rifle, just don't get pushing something out of the factory in such poor shape. Because of your experience, you got it sorted out over the course of a long day but I think of all the average gun buyer that makes the purchase in good faith, gets home, and the lid comes off the "can of worms."

Re: Lever lover from Down Under
It seems like a 50/50 shot on getting a good one. My first one was 100% good to go from the box. My second one... I'll just bite my tongue for now. I'm still trying to decide if I have a home gunsmith of that ability in me or if I need to save up and send her to reform school.
