I should have mentioned this before. There are several different tools for both loading and unloading the moon clips. There's cheap where you just use needle nose pliers to snap them into the clip and a metal tube cut with a tooth on the end to pop the cases out. Then there's tools that are purpose built that have a camming lever action that snaps them in at one end and a tool at the other end to snap them out. I think EZ Moon Clip Loader or something close is a good one. Then there is the BMT...

Search youtube for videos of them in action but it's pretty much just insert the clip, snap it shut, drop cartridges in the slots, twist and you are done. Once fired you just plop the empties in the clip into the thing, twist it, and poof they are back out. Magic. Sad part, they aren't cheap...
