Hi there. Bought my first ever Levergun today. A Rossi 92 in stainless with a 24in Octagon barrel of the .44Mag variety.
We're finally allowed to use rifles to hunt deer here in Ohio as long as it's a "straight walled pistol caliber cartridge," and I've always loved the idea of having a Lever Action rifle. So I started researching them and decided to go with the Rossi.
I have to admit, I never intended to go with an Octagon barrel, or stainless steel finish, but when I saw and held my new rifle, I had to have it. I'm quite sure this won't be my last Rossi Levergun either.

Re: Hiya
Got the same exact gun.
Like it pretty well. Still sort of rather have my Winchester 94 Legacy 24" round barrel though.
When I first saw the title I thought:

Re: Hiya
Welcome to the forum Hiya and it is great to see the changes that have taken place in your State. If I was King of Rossi, my distributors would be flooding your gun shops with rifles!
