First kill with the RG3030!

Post by Nodnarb »

Myself and a buddy of mine went down to Georgia for some feral hog hunting two weeks ago. I got my first ever feral hog and my first ever kill with the RG3030.

We ended up taking 5 hogs (1 boar, 3 Sow & 1 Piglet) in 3 days having a awesome Trip. I also killed 2 with my Savage Model 11 Hog Hunter in .308

Thanks RD! I was very happy with the Rio Grande. It carries very nice through the woods and performed flawlessly! I am still thinking about having the barrel cut down to 16"

Thanks man! You may recognize one guy from The Specialty Pistols forum. Bayside Custom Gunworks aka Hoggin. I might be having him cut my 3030 down to 16" and make a custom scout scope rail :)

Yeah I am more than happy with mine! Weaver multi slot base, Leupold QRW rings, Redfield Revenge 3-9x42 and a bird cage muzzle brake. Ordering a Boyds stock and she will be finished!
