I'd seen a couple of those Lyman sights on something like an old Savage 99 a couple years ago but passed on the rifles.
I do think their website has a bit of a thing against the Japanese Winchesters however:

Value will be lost. For the Japanese version: Saddle Ring must be removed by a qualified gunsmith. Our sight will not devalue the gun, as it was not made in Hartford, Connecticut, thus there is no value!
