92 feeding in .357 / .38

Post by Archer »

So my 92 feeds A-Zoom snap caps in .357s without problems.
On the other hand it isn't perfect with the .38 A-Zoom snap caps.

I've looked the gun over with respect to the gap between the feed guides and it seems to be close enough according to the write up on Marauder's web pages. The .38 A-Zoom caps are 5 thou smaller in Dia than .38 Spec for MAX diameter. That makes the gap for the snap caps to the gun at about 10-11 thou.

Should I be worried or should I be getting ready to shim the RHS guide tighter?

I would take her to the range and see how she does before commiting to anything snap caps generally don't have the same weight as loaded rounds so best to actaully get to the range and see where she is strong or weak and then address the issues you find. Keep us posted.
