southpaw advice with Steve's ejector spring?

Post by HaveBlue83 »

Just did a full teardown, polished some, deburred some, and did that pita ejector spring. man Is it smooth now! But the cases are hitting me in the face now lol.

Any way to get around this? Im seeing if i tilt it to the right when i eject, i can throw em over my right sholder. Just looking for some tips. Screw that oem heavy ass spring tho!

My buddy is a lefty and this happens to him when he shots my 92. He started to twist rifle to the right when working the lever to avoid this. I really cannot help other than try what you already stated. Glad you got her tuned and back together.
