Ok, here's the report.

The pin is perfect. It measures .570 x .117. The nearest drill size is #32 (.116) My bet is that since it is a captured pin, unless it cycles past the lug slots, a .116 would probably work.

Or probably a better way, use .120 rod and sand it down in a drill press to the right size.

All you need is a serial number for a current production firearm. Plenty are displayed on GunBroker. PM and I will give you one of mine if you want.

When it comes to spare parts, RossiUSA is it.

But will they sell them to you?

Often the only way you can get some (restricted) parts replaced is send your gun to Rossi CS and the tender mercies of Popeye and his ball peen & dremel crew. They'll never get their hands on my Rossi 92s.

I always did well by the "buy cheap & fix-it-yerself" paradigm as I can fix just about anything but you're checked & check-mated if you don't have access to parts.
