Gonna put a new railed forearm on my AR15

Post by akuser47 »

This is my current setup bushmaster m4 style 1by9 barrel with russian KOBRA optic looks goofy but works decent. problem is the rail system is junk so have new one coming and hoping it will be GTG. I will post some details as I get time to do it here is a old pic of her though. I figure it's time to give the ar some love beens she has been in the back of my safe in the neglected of attention section for a long while lol levers and ak's are truely in my heart but for some reason have an itch to scratch with this one for now.

I doubt I will ever love an ar as much as I do an ak. I do love the stoner design just not as much as I like the ak. Though for accuracy and long range I know my ar will win but for battle accuracy as in minute of man targets my aks do what is needed.

I forgot to update this so while home washing clothes and getting ready to hit the road. I shot a few pics date is off but I took them today. I swapped out a really cheap made plastic first samco two piece rail forearm for a aluminum one two piece that locks up tight unlike previous rail. I even put one of my sweet little ak rifles with her in the pic.
This is a bushmaster M4 my red dot is off of her till I can rezero it on new rail and she should shot even better now.
and a romy G biuld 30 round mags in the wells 20 rounders near forearm for reference.

here is a romy ak comparable to my M4 she was my first ak and is GTG when I need her well over 14000 rounds through her and she can still hit 10" steel at 100yards with irons. old pics but shows what she still is.
