I just saw a great butt pad on our page header pictures. It has a leather fringed scabbard with what looks like one nice leather butt pad. Anyone have a link to a bigger picture?
How about a DIY link to that one.
found a way to get the link to the pic.

I would call it a stock cover but if you look at the link to the picture it only covers about 3 inches of the stock.

Re: leather butt pad!!!!
I prefer the full butt leater stock cover myself........one that can soften cheek slap from heavy recoiling guns as well as pack a few emergency rounds of ammo that won't be separated from the gun if the canoe tips over in fast water and the packsack containing the ammo washes down stream. If I'm in a canoe I wrap 1 or 2 of the dangling rawhide strips from the leather butt cover around the seat bracket so the gun won't sink if the canoe upsets.silverback13 wrote:I would call it a stock cover but if you look at the link to the picture it only covers about 3 inches of the stock.
I have several beautiful full length butt stock covers made by John Klein on my Wincheser 94s, 1886s & Guide Guns.
