Re: My First Rossi, Model 62A
Conman, that's what I figured. I think I might have to buy a new firing pin, I believe that is what locks the slide shut. I do not believe that the pin is going into the stop portion all the way on the receiver. I tried to remove some of the slide stop to let it go in further but I just messed the firing pin stop up and had to order another. I ordered another firing pin. I had to order a Winchester firing pin, I could not find the Rossi everyone was out. I hope the Winchester will work ? I do not think it has the slot cut into the bottom, I do not know though.

Thanks for the link, I have the firing pin stop coming from them and the firing pin coming from Numrich. I also have a peep sight coming from Homestead.
Thanks for the link.

Re: My First Rossi, Model 62A
Just wondering you got it fixed yet.
I've got a Rossi 62 Octagon that I put a Marbles tang sight on. Like my 1892, it's more accurate than I am.
