Hello to the group! I found this forum after purchasing a Rio Grande 3030SS today. I've been wanting a 30-30 lever gun for a long time and finally made it happen. When my Dad passed away in 1969, he left me a beautiful Marlin 336. I was only 10 years old and Mom wouldn't let me shoot it until I turned 14 (the minimum age to deer hunt in Michigan). Sadly, someone stole the gun from our house before I ever got a chance to use it and there has been a void in my gun collection ever since. I think the Rossi will fill the void nicely. Anyway, I've been shooting since I was 6 years old and somewhere along the way started to reload and cast boolits. I look forward to learning from this forum and hope to contribute as well.
