Howdy all,
I am checking in from Lincoln county, New Mexico. I retired a couple of years ago and made the move out to "Billy the Kid country" from California.
I had a .44 magnum Rossi 92 with a 24" octagon barrel that I used for cowboy action shooting for about a year until I changed calibers to .45 Colt and ended up with a Uberti 1860 rifle in that caliber.
I currently have a .44 magnum Ranch Hand that was given to me as a birthday present last year. I have shot it a couple of times out at the range. It is a lot of fun, but I am thinking on getting a federal stamp and adding a standard stock to it. I think it would make a great brush/ATV gun in that configuration.
Glad to be on board!
Mick

Welcome Mick, the idea of converting the RH to a full stocked rifle is one I like and I hope you will document the journey!
