A good day at the gun show

Post by donhuff »

Man I like the rubber pad on this 454. wish I could get replacement stocks for like this for my other 92s. Though I have not shot it yet, it just feels so good and does not slip and slid all over my torso when I shoulder it. Seems a little longer too.

In one picture is the big difference in the look of the 454/480 with the screw in magazine tube. That's how I found this gun, cause it was in a rack with a bunch of other lever guns and I wouldn't have never noticed it was there without seeing the mag tube thumb screw thingy.

I gots lots of powder now by golly!!! I wont have to try to make everything work with 800X anymore. But I actually have grown to like the stuff pretty well. It's not as bad as everyone on the web makes it out to be.

Only 200 starline 454 cases in the pic. I think that will be enough at one sitting  I dont think that will ever happen! 34 pounds of powder ought to last me a good while, but after looking at the picture, I think that I should have gotten more than ONE box of primers. Dangit!

click on the pics to see the whole thing. it's cropping a little off on my screen.

That's a day of shopping! If you want to fix the picture crop, select "Edit" on your post. Find the list of attachments and use the "Place inline" button next to each image in the list. You want your mouse cursor in the position in your post where you would like the image located. I did the first one for you.

RD, I'm doing pretty good just getting pictures on this thing. I'm not into computers and the less I have to do the better.

I'll put them on here, and yall will just have to figure out the order.
