It's pared nicely with a S&W 627. I just picked up the kydex holster today so I'm pretty excited about

Not at all, but I got to ask about what and where did you find the front sling attachment?

It's a specter gear 3-point sling. The front and rear attachments just wrap around the barrel and stock respectively and are held in place via velcro. The one on my Rossi is meant for a Mini-14.

I also have one on my M1 Garand, they work quite well. I used a sling that was meant for an M1a for it.

Removed the ugly buckhorn, added a carbine ladder sight. Much better!
