They did one before Braztech entered the picture. It had a very short life

If it handles like the rest of my Rossi's, I'd be in for one. +guns

I like my Henry Octagonal and my Browning .22 lever action.

I would like to get a Winchester 9422 and a Marlin 39 in .22 LR.
I'd like to get a Henry Octagonal in .22 WMR. Already have the Winchester 9422M.

I think it is pretty hard to compete against the little Henry lever rimfires that are coming out right now.
They aren't too expensive and they work.

If they remake the 62LAR
it should look like this;

That's a good looking gun, except for the mickey mouse ear safety and the pin holes in the top of the bolt.

What's going on with the front end of the bolt? Forward locking lugs or what?

Look at the 4th picture that shows the locking lugs. Looks like something is different with them, maybe it's just me.

I have seen better pictures of the .22 now and it is not a 62 remake. It looks like a totally new design. And the receiver looks to be cast metal or Zamak. But till I can see one in person I am not sure.
Likely will be a .22LR only which would make it less attractive to many buyers.
The street price is what will either make or break this one. And of course the reliability of the action and accuracy. To make any dent in the rimfire rifle market they have to beat Ruger and the 10/22, Marlin and the model 60, And Henry and their lever guns. Which is a tall order.

The price will have to be less than those and the accuracy and reliability will have to be very good.
This is a tough market, and to put out a gun like this that has NO historic appeal in design is likely doomed from the outset.
