$700.00 for a new Rossi?

Post by jdl447 »

Was at a local gun store today. They have 2 92’s on display SS 45 and a 357 mag. Priced at $685.00
With tax that would put em at a bit over $700.00. Anyone else seeing prices like this?

In stock at Kentucky Gun Co for $504.00. Toole Gun Supply has the blue marlins for $609.00. Prices have come down since Marlin 357s are back on the market.

The last two I bought (.357 20” SS and .44 16” blued) were prices at $539 and were purchased for $500 plus tax.

It's all relative. $500 plus tax is too much IMO.

Wow, supply and demand.
Rossi is starting to ship more rifles so the supply will increase, hoping the price drops.
I’ll keep looking for the nice older 92s.

Toole Gun Supply has 2 in 44 mag stainless at $549.00. There is no tax unless you are in Utah and I think shipping is $15 or so to your FFL. I have bought a couple guns from them, fast and no issues. They also have the Marlin 1894 in 357, I think they are $609.00/ FYI

Based on what I see as distributor price, Anywhere less than $600 is decent depending on your store. $550 is good price. Over $600? No dang way. Wait a bit longer. 44 Mag and 357mag are in US limited to SS and 20" barrels.
