Where are the 16” 92s?
What’s with the shortage of 92s in 44Mag with a 16” barrel?

Re: Where are the 16” 92s?
I recently found an unfired one in .357 at our local Cabela's in the used rack. Priced at $600, got it for $550. Needs the usual tuning, but I love it so far! It's the only 16 incher I've seen in years, and I was looking for that exact model/cal/blued finish. Even has the medium oversized lever.
Yeah, they're kinda hard to find. I say mine was unfired because it was spotless inside, with no brass marks on the gate or carrier.

WV that is my favorite rifle.
I am keeping a lookout for when they hit the shelves.
And I will post ASAP.
I can always use a second one.

I had one about tens ago and I had tuned it up to where it could feed anything. I sold it because it shot high. The sad thing is that I discovered why they shoot high and it is an easy fix.

Re: Where are the 16” 92s?
After reading Elmer Keiths sixguns, and he and Bill Rugers testing of the 44 magnum, it is now my go to cartridge in rifle and pistol.
Im already setup with a 45 cal flintlock and making .440 rd ball.
I run the 440 balls through my sizer, then load them in either 44 mag/44 special.44 russian cases, add a dusting of bullseye, and take small game all day.
Then load up some heavy, hard cast, hot T-Rex loads for anything that wants to eat me.
I added a long range folding rear sight.
If Elmer can take Elk at 600 yds with a hot 44 special from a revolver, I should be able to hit something with a 16" carbine.

There's a dealer near me that has a new 16" 44 mag. He'd probably ship to your FFL on your dime...
