GB had a new 16" stainless for 582.00. i thought too long about it and bam it was gone. someone here get it?

stainless is not my favorite either in rifles. there is just something about the bright finish that i don't like in a lever gun.

At that price (anything starting with $5) I would have bought it to hold me until I could get the finish that I wanted. A SS rifle at that price would probably fund a blue rifle.

I missed the caliber initially and was wondering why this was a good deal for a few moments.
At .454 though it makes a bit more sense.
