I know this isn't the reloading area but I thought I'd point you towards a thread I posted there about some handload data I collected from a recent trip to my range with my chrono on both my Rossi 24" rifle and 20" carbine using 158grn bullets. The results are wonderful and a real advantage for your Rossi should you want to try to hunt it. The read might encourage you to consider handloading your own as well.
