any market for standard levers?

Post by stevep1954 »

i'm thinking of buying another 3/4 lever form stevesgunz and was wondering if it was worth advertising for sale the standard lever after i replace it. i believe they are all interchangeable. any idea what a standard lever is worth? thanks

Let Stevesguns know what you're thinking. He might buy your old lever from you.

Is it blue or stainless? If blue, how much do you want for it?

Keep it until I need it. If I find a non-safety Rossi .45 that has a giant loop lever I'll need a normal one.

Does lever changing require much fitting?

i changed my regular loop to a 3/4 loop from steves gunz . i had to make a few calls to steve and he was happy to help me work through my problems. once he told me to pin the 2 levers together and make the new one look like the original one it really was easy. i had the guts out of the rossi about thirty times making sure i took off just a little at a time and then fitting it. you will be real good at taking it apart when you are done. i just shot it again today and it works perfect with the new 3/4 lever. i would not hesitate to do another one.

I would like to have a standard lever for my ranch hand if you’d be willing to give it up
