I will be praying for a speedy recovery.
I know your pain, after decades of power-lifting/weightlifting I have wreaked havoc on my shoulders.
Its funny, Shooting my rossi 92 44 mag with factory ammo is extremely painful when it recoils on my shoulder.
But I can take a SBH with 44 mag hot bear loads and shoot one handed with either hand no problem.
may have to start shooting 357 mag from now on.
