So, you don't want a semi-auto 22 RF :?:

That's what they think their customer base wants

Don't need semi-auto .22. Now if Rossi wanted to make a clone of the Winchester 9422 for $400, I'm there.

How about a 9222 since they already have most of the tooling it would take? Should turn out just a little shorter and lighter than the 94 based gun.

Just a sec here.... I'd heard from some local shooters and read one story that was saying that Rossi had just up and closed their doors. So that's not the case?

I have purchased two in the last month, one in 45 Colt and one in 357 mag.

The 45 was built in 2015 and was probably stored in a back room somewhere before I spotted it on the rack at my LGS.

The 357 was built in 2017 and was shipped to a gun store in Utah where I bought it online.

Recently Hinterland Outfitters received 25 Rossi 92's and sold them all online in a day.

Bud's Gun Shop shows 45 Colts with 16" barrels in stock.

My advice is to stay vigilant and be ready to buy as soon as you see one.

Thanks, but I doubt that'll happen up this way. Rossi lever rifles have proven to be so popular up this way that when a shipment arrives which is supposed to last for half a year the guns are all sold out within a month to 6 weeks. At least the two stores out this way that handle Rossi said that this is the pattern which they've seen for a few years now. So there's no hope of finding any NOS.

If you want a .44 or .45, Gun Broker always has several for sale and prices are near MSRP. If you want .357 or .454, its a lot harder to find. Watch for news here about where they are in stock and buy as soon as you have a chance.
