Just got a 92 in 357 stainless 16 inch. This one a factory refurb but really nice. Plan was to cut the loading tube by one inch and thread for a suppressor. Problem is this gun is so nice I cannot bring myself to do so. This is added to a 20 inch blue in 357 and a 20 inch stainless in 454. Did I say that stainless 454 is my favorite of all my rifles including Weatherbys and high end stuff. The 454 will send a 300 grain bullet the same speed as my Marlin Guide Gun 45-70. The darn Rossi 92s are addictive. I am watching several on line sites and there are no Marlins or Rossis to be had. Toole gun supply is showing a Winchester 92 in 357 for about $900. Rossi could really sell some guns if they would tool up on 92s. People have all the ARs they need and frankly the AR fad is getting a little booring in my view.

I'm a member of a Lever Gun group on Facebook, and some guy mentioned a couple days ago that he just found a new Rossi 92 .454 in a local gun shop, been sitting in the back for a few years, still in the box. Got it cheap too, I think it was $475 or so.

Did you by chance ask if those were new arrivals, or old stock? Rifles or carbines? Pricey, yes - but be interesting to know if they're new arrivals or not.

A store in the next town over has two new style blue 44s, one 16" one 20" but they are not NIB, just consignment I think. One is $499 and one is $450.
$600 is an outer space price.

There are only 21 Rossi 92s listed on GunBroker, that is an all-time low from my observations. Most are in the $400 to $500 range. Three of those are 357 Mags, and all three are listed in the $600 to $700 range. One is an Amadeo Rossi 67, closing tomorrow at, it has a receiver sight. Given that the sight is probably a $150 addition including the drill and tap, it would be a good choice.

I watch the Rossi's available on GB, just to follow a trend, and for the last six months; every month there the available rifles are halved. We are about five weeks out from a catalog to view what the plan is. At the same time, Rossi didn't produce what was in last years catalog, so it is tough to figure out what is happening.

You should hurry back and get the other two, or at least the .357. Hey, it's only money!

There's a .45C 16" for $450 locally and the two under-$500 .44s mentioned above. None are new but are way less than $600. That's just insane to me. I don't see Rossis much but they are never over $525 locally.....see one sell about once per six weeks.
