Loaded up some stout loads. Slow cycled. Fast cycled. All is well and I think I can OFFICIALLY say this is solved/fixed. Hope no one else needs to go thru this but if they do THERE IS HOPE! a 1/16th roll pin and a .0620" drill bit.

Spiral pin or split pin? In either case, good application, and a fine outcome. Nice work!

Thank you HarryAlonzo, I went with a split pin. Found a pile of em out at work in the old shop and was given a few along with a couple .0620" drill bits.
