Well, it arrived today! In most excellent condition too.

Now, I bought this used from a feller in NH, knowing that I'd be AT LEAST the third owner. I haven't got to pore over it with a fine toothed comb yet (I'm still at work, took a "break" and hurried to my FFL to pick it up), but from my initial inspection this rifle is still new and unfired. I don't think it's even been LOADED or cycled!

Stainless Rossi .357's are known for having blued loading gates, and this one does. There are NO brass marks or scratches on the gate, and NONE on the carrier either! No marks on the metal or wood, and it came in the original box. The guy I bought it from says he got it from a gun shop, who took it in on trade from the original owner, who said he'd never fired it. The guy I bought it from basically just bought it and resold it too.

I paid $450 for the rifle, $25 for shipping, can't remember the PayPal fee but around $15, and $26 for the BGC and transfer fees. So I've got around $515 in an unfired, 24" octagonal barreled stainless Rossi R92-51011 in .357 magnum, new in the box. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year indeed!

Photos to come.....

They didn't used to. Mine from 2015 didn't, but it doesn't matter. Great to hear it's so nice, and hopefully it has found a home where it will be appreciated and USED.

Oh yeah, it'll get used! Gonna get used a LOT! Been stocking up on .38/.357 brass, better start casting more bullets too.

Congrats, Hope it works out well.

I think the only one I'm sort of looking for is a 20" SS RB .357 and that would be to make a scout out of rather than something I NEED since I've got the blued one already.
